The One Where I Reappear. Well, Sort Of...

Crap. Has it honestly been almost a week since my last post? I'm not sure what my deal is. Well, besides the nausea, exhaustion, zombie like behavior that has taken over my body.

Add to that the fighting between the girls, the tears from the girls, and the death of my great-grandma...well, it's been a week of hell.

I cannot remember the last time I was this freaking exhausted--it's like I go through the motions of our days and nap when I can squeeze one in....

So, anyway--that's where I've been. Oh--and shopping, too. Lots of shopping...

Sometimes a Hug is All I Need....

The other day I was sitting on the floor picking up some toys (story of my life!).

I've been so tired lately and the weather is unbearable. Heat index of 100 and the humidity? Um...don't get me started.

Isabella came up to me and I swooped her into my arms to give her a big bear hug. I love hugs from my girl--how her hair smells, the stickiness of her toddler-ness, her baby lotion--I love it all.

As I'm patting her on her back telling her how much I loved her....she reaches around and starts patting my back, too.

I think she was letting me know that everything will be okay. This crazy pregnancy train is almost to the end and we will make it.

That's when I realized that sometimes? All I need is a hug from my sweet, sweet girl.

She Was What Some Would Call....Exhausted....

This is what occurs when someone felt 45 minutes was enough of

a nap....

PS--she was tucked in when we put her to bed...my girl just has another idea of what comfortable means *smile*

Exhausted.

That's what I feel. Worn down. Worn out. And just tired.

It doesn't help that Isabella's new waking time is anywhere from 3 am to 4'something am. I'm not sure what's going on there...but it's a new schedule that we're not used to and we're really not sure we like a lot...

So many tears, tantrums and a tired momma. And tired dadda.

Hopefully her new schedule will correct itself soon...oh, how I hope!
