The One Where I Dream of No Christmas

Do you know what I just realized today? That Christmas is two. weeks. away.

Maybe my stress of nothing done was the cause of part of my dream last nite. Isabella woke up on Christmas and nothing was done!

No presents from Santa.

No gifts under the tree.

No cinnamon rolls for breakfast.

No Christmas dinner in the works.

How sad is that?! I have felt so lousy this week that now I am dreaming of no Christmas? This Momma needs to kick it in gear.

And fast.

Here's my plan:

I have declared that tomorrow Isabella will see Santa. If she wants to, that is. I'm not going to force her up to the man in the big red suit if it means our happy-Christmas-get-a-move-on-Momma day will become a not-one-dang-thing-got-accomplished kind of day.

I am going to mail off the rest of our Christmas cards.

Order a few more Christmas gifts for some family members.

Finish my shopping for Leo and Isabella.

And hopefully if I feel okay I will treat myself to a Starbucks...if it sounds good tomorrow.

So here's hoping I will feel good tomorrow.

And honestly? Here's hoping I get one of those things accomplished tomorrow....because who am I kidding with a list like that...we all know I am a procrastinator....and love the last minute rush at the mall on Christmas Eve early afternoon.....

LOL, I've had that same dream (nightmare?) when you "bigs" were little! Don't worry, honey, Santa Claus is coming!

Love you all!

Don't worry, there will be Christmas whether you are ready or not - and it will PERFECT no matter what. I promise!! I hope you're feeling better tomorrow and can sip a nice cup of Starbucks too :-)

Christmas is only two weeks away? Well, crap. That really puts an urgency to finishing everything! I still have boxes to mail! Well, and I still need to buy the stuff that's supposed to go inside them. Wow. Well, thanks for the heads up! At lease we're going to my company's annual pancake breakfast tomorrow and Gabi will get to see Santa Claus. Even if it's the only thing we do this year, at least she'll see the big dude.

I love that rush too... the sweet of others, the crying of babies, the swearing of fathers... oh, Christmas eve shopping.

I'm so not kidding, I totally think that this is part of the fun of shopping then.

Hope it will be fun for us both :)

Hey Chelle!!! I feel sooo good to be back. On Thanksgiving day my computer crashed! I just got it back from getting a new hard drive etc...
If I could offer something to you, it's to just chill a bit...it's really ok not to have EVERYTHING done. It makes you normal:) I actually love to shop pretty much last minute, as of right now, I have nothing bought! I have 3 kids a husband and lots of family, and nothing done. My cards are sent, my tree and deco is up...but no gifts yet. We'll go next weekend at some point and do all of it and then hubby and I will go out for dinner at night after our lists have been checked twice and feel just fine about waiting until the last minute:)
and dont think I wont be at the mall or target on Christmas eve like you! Im pretty sure thats where you'll find me!!!
Im ok with that. haha
ps...how are you feeling????

Plus you just have weird dreams when you're preggo anyway! : )

I hope you were able to get your little Christmas "chores" done and if not, it's okay... ; )

Aren't dreams a weird thing? I am sure there is some deep seeded meaning in each of them, but dang sometimes they just bring panic! I am sure Christmas morning will be picture perfect complete with rolls and presents and a smiling sweetie pie :D and make SURE to take a coffee break for yourself! It will help the rest of the season sail right along ;)
