Why Do These Things Happen?

Things like this should NEVER have to occur. My heart is broken and saddened--we, as Moms, need to help stand up against bullying. I have seen so many stories about bullies lately. It makes me scared for my girls.

Please go and read this post. Please. Offer this Mom anything--hugs, prayers, kind words. Thank you all for doing so...I know my readers are amazing and will stand up against bullies.

If you would like to, grab this button and post a link to her site. She needs our love and prayers right now, y'all--her AND her son.

I just don't get why parents don't teach their kids better - whoop their butts! I remember being bullied in our school for being fat - heck, they even wrote it on my locker in 7th grade, but bullying nowadays is extreme. It's scary! What possesses a kid to beat up aother for tennis shoes or because he hangs with friends of a different race?! I swear I'd rather put my kids in a private same-sex school or home school than deal with a lot of this mess. It's just to omuch.

This is a horrible, terrible, inexcusable thing. I hope the children and the children's parents should be held accountable. (I mean of the bully, of course.)
