Early Bird Gets the Worm...or Something Like That.

Dear Isabella,

Since the time change you have decided to wake up at, oh, 5 o'clock in the morning. Every morning.

Due to my lack of sleep I feel unhumanly tired.

For example: Today when Mema called? She thought that I was sleeping.

Which would have been fine. If I was indeed sleeping.

So, honey, tonite? Please sleep. And sleep well into the morning. Momma doesn't mind if you sleep in.

Shoot, sleep until 7 and I will be ecstatic....alive....and normal feeling.

I love you, my little early bird.

And remember....sleep until you see the light outside. That is when Momma likes to wake up.

Love,
Momma

i feel you friend.

we still aren't right after the time change.

maybe if we were neighbors the girls could just go outside together at five, play and let their mommies sleep :)

haha amen sister I totally know what you mean!

When me and my hubby celebrated our 10th anniversary last week, he surprised me with a gorgeous diamond necklace from www.idonowidont.com and we danced to music for hours.

Around the midnight hour, our son woke up and didn't go to bed till 5 am. I was so tired!

I think the time change is just cruel punishment for mamas...it always messes up Carter's sleeping schedule...thankfully we are not up at 5:00am though...I hope you can get some sleep soon!

Oh my! That is not fun. We had a hard time adjusting to the time change but it wasn't that bad. So sorry. I hope she sleeps in tomorrow for you!

It is killing me, too! Who the heck thought of time changes? Certainly not mommies.

I can completely relate. :) My little boy has early mornings sometimes too and I am always a little more tired on those days. I keep hoping someday he will sleep in! It has to happen sometime, right? ;)

Yep, here too. I keep telling myself that the hour or so we get to ourselves in the morning is special time that I'll remember fondly.

I'm so glad my daughter sleeps now! Those first 5 months aged me terribly. I'm so going to have to get botox now..
