That's it. I'm Totally Wearing a Band-Aid on My Jawline.

So y'all remember how I was just talking about my skin and how I feel like I have been hit with the hormones of a 13 year old--well, except for being older and with the occasional gray hair that makes its way onto my head {which fyi? I pull  that sucker out. I don't care if two grow in its place--I'll totally pull that one out, too}.

Anyways, back to the story at hand. I'm sitting on the loveseat feeding Miss Madelyn. Isabella was snuggling on me, giving me hugs, tons of kisses. I couldn't believe my good fortune--instead of hitting, getting hit by thrown objects or an occasional bite I was getting love and attention!

Then she starts looking at my jaw. Which just happens to be where the dreaded "p" word is. I'm hoping she doesn't see it. The thing causing me pain to just think about. {It hurts. Badly. Because not only do I have a pimple, but it's a painful one. Shoot me now...}

She looks at me with love and concern in her eyes and says....

"Oh, Mommy, owie. Me get you Dowah {Dora} Ban-Aid."

I looked at her. Told her thank you.

And cursed the pimple Gods above me.

Disclaimer: this may or may not have been a wonderful excuse to go eat fajitas and margaritas tonite...hey--if I have a pimple I may as well be happy off a couple of 'ritas, right?

My girls have said, "Mommy, you have a boo-boo." No offers of Dora Bandaids though!

And I have yanked a gray hair or two also. I think they're scouts. If they're brave enough to send more than one at a time, I'm prepared to resort to chemical warfare.

Oh, I feel your pain girl! My skin hates me lately, which is not very nice when my hormones are already teetering with all these pregnancy hormones! Hope you enjoyed your margaritas and fajitas!

ha! I hate when Allikaye stares intently at a zit - like I am a mutant bleeding out of my face!! hehe! I bought a new box of wine last night - but wish I could have had margs with you! Hide our teenage skin woes!!

Chelle, I think I said already I never had pimples until this year - and then I was getting like up to 7 at one time, it was horrible- I'm vain and crying about it a lot ;)

I tried a lot of different products too, I'm been using Target's Acne Free for a month and really like it. Just my suggestion.

Margaritas help too~

I pull out gray hair too.
It is just getting harder and harder to keep up with.
Ugh!
If I have to deal with gray hair I shouldn't have to deal with zits.
Just sayin'!

Did you say Margaritas?! I'm in!!!
People are always saying "Oh, don't pop it. Just leave it alone and it well go away."

I say, screw that! Pop that sucker, put some Neosporine on it and let's move on!!!

What a sweetheart to fix your boo-boo! I had a mole removed a while back and Carter was just so concerned for me. It was such a nice feeling to see him treating me like I treat him when he has an ouchie.

I pull each and every one of those gray hairs out too...Just the other night I pulled 3 out and am planning on coloring my hair tonight. Getting older sucks!
