Timing

Timing is everything.

I have always believed this.

We were supposed to go and see my Grandpa this weekend.

My Grandpa who is doing his best in fighting lung cancer.

Of all the weeks to be sick, Isabella has a fever. I have a fever. Again.

We were planning on seeing my Mom, Dad and little sisters as they were going to go there, too.

Now we don't get to see anyone.

My Grandpa's health is so much more important to me than my selfishness in wanting to see everyone.

I don't think I could live with myself knowing that I intentionally set out to Indiana to see him while knowing we weren't healthy....which would compromise his health. I just. can't. do it.

Our next chance to see him will be Thanksgiving weekend.

Here's hoping that timing will be on our side in November....

Oh, Chelle...I'm so sorry you guys are sick and can't see your grandpa.

You said it best, that timing is everything. There is a reason you aren't supposed to be there, right?

I hope you feel better soon and now you have a month to get really excited about your visit at Thanksgiving.

I'm sorry... Sickness sure has an ugly way of ruining the best made plans. Here's hoping Thanksgiving weekend is healthy for everyone. I hope your Grandpa improves. What sad news.

Oh Chelle, I am SO sorry to hear both you and Isabella are running a temp. Do you think it could be from the flu shots, or did you get yours earlier?
I hope to write you more later..
Love you and feel so badly for you as know how bad you wanted to go.

I'm so sorry you're not going to be able to make the trip this time. It will make your time with your Grandpa over thanksgiving that much better.

Hope you kick the fevers.

I'm sorry, Chelle! I would be disappointed too. I'm sure everyone is looking forward to seeing you at Thanksgiving. And it's just around the corner. This year has flown by, hasn't it?

Feel better...and thanks for your encouragement and tips earlier this week! I'm hoping to get my act together this weekend & maybe even catch up on a little blogging! :)

Those are the hardest decisions to make, I'm so sorry. Thanksgiving will be here before you know it, and it will be worth the wait.

Well, that's disappointing, to say the least. Hopefully everyone will congregate on Thanksgiving and it will be all the more special!
