Today Leo and I got into an argument.
*gasp*
*crickets chirping*
We have made up.
Which is also known as I have apologized for my maniac ways.
I had a not so good day...and then Leo got the wrath.
Which is not good.
But guess what...we went to Chili's...as a truce.
We had a wonderful time....I had a couple of Presidentes (minus the salt)....now that is one recipe I wish I had on hand....
Could you imagine?!
"Honey, I'm home....and I had such a bad day. Do you happen to be in the mood for a Presidente?"
Me: "Are you kidding me?! In the mood for one?! I had the batch of 'em whipped up ever since you called and said you were on your way home!"
Okay, so this is a bit of a stretch. Leo is a beer man.
But I would happily drink that batch for myself....

I'm going to guess it's fresh lime juice, a little real sugar, good tequila and some grand marnier or cointreau (instead of cheap triple sec)!
We love Chilies, but were a 6 hour drive away from one. We always order of the "Starters" menu and share a bunch of stuff together. Now I'm hungry. Thanks a lot!

just love chili's! i am a margarita girl...you need to come out my way. there is a place by my house that has been nominated in our area to have the best margaritas...they are so...yummy! one and you are just so relaxed!

1/2 oz. Prezidente Brandy
1/2 oz. Cointreau
3 oz. sour mix
splash lime juice
I think it's cool you write that you guys had an argument. I'm always afraid I'm gonna get unsolicated advice just by opening the can of worms that 'my husband and I are human and fight'. I'm just a chicken I guess!
