The French Bikini...

First a warning--if you're my mom, grandma, or just don't want to read about body waxing? Click out of this post. Now.

Are you gone?

Just don't want someone to think I'm talking about bikinis when I'm talking about waxing...haha!

Okay, so here's the deal. I've had the Brazilian before and that was awful the first time. It did get less painful each time I went which was awesome. But now that I haven't been on the waxing wagon for awhile I'm terrified yet again...

So being that Leo will be home in a few weeks and being pregnant makes it impossible to do a lot of things I've decided to start getting waxed. Again. Brazilian? No way. I don't need to take care of everything you know?

Then there's the regular bikini. But I wanted a little more so I upped it to the French bikini. I haven't done it yet, but the appointment is set--there's no going back now! I'm a little nervous...I've read it's more painful when pregnant. I should have scheduled a facial and pedi the same day to relax after getting hair ripped out...

Have you had the French bikini done before? Thoughts? I'm just curious to your thoughts/opinions. And I can't wait until Leo gets home--I'm thinking he'll be pleasantly surprised...

I seriously have to go google French Bikini Wax because I am totally clueless! LOL! Know what a Brazilian is, but a French....nope!

Miss you on here!! Congrats on the news of a new baby girl :)

Yep, please explain for us clueless ladies.

I don't know about a bikini wax, but I haven't had my upper lip done in 2 months because my skin broke out into a nasty rash last time I did. So now I get to be gigantic and have a mustache. Hooray for pregnancy!

I've never had any sort of bikini wax.

He'll be home soon? YAY!!! So he will there when your new girl arrives?

You are BRAVE. I tried getting a wax once and had to tell her to stop in the middle. I didn't care if only half of it was waxed. I was in so much pain.

HOWEVER, I might should have done it throughout my pregnancy because after a while, you can't trim yourself since you can't see a darn thing! The belly takes over! haha

I've gotten waxed before while pregnant, even near the very end prior to giving birth as I knew I wouldn't be able to 'tend' to the area for a while afterwards. It really is no different.

French bikinis, woman - if you can handle a brazilian - you can certainly handle this! You go girl! Lol

I've had them all. OUCH! I just can't seem to get used to them...although in the end they are totally 100% worth it!

What's a French? Landing strip?

I've had waxing done 3 times and if the right person does it, it's not nearly as painful. Some people are horrible at it!

I've only ever had my eyebrows waxed, I'm too chicken for those sensitive areas, lol!

My friends got a groupon and are all doing laser hair removal...ever since I heard about that I'm convinced I need to save up and get it done...good luck with the waxing! :)

Did you get a landing strip hooker????

Mr. CB will be so jealous of your hubby! I just get all that shit ripped off!

Did you totally miss me?

Due to a most embarrassing moment where I accidentally sent a picture of my daughter's birth where you can see my Hair Down There to all of my family and friends (and even a few co-workers, heaven help me), I got a Brazilian the day before I had my son. Let's just say that I was glad to be hairless in the end, but my poor pregnant skin could barely handle it. You are brave indeed!

Wow waxing, the word itself is painful... very brave indeed... lord Razor's my best friend :)

Now completely off topic, are you from the future? since your post's dated 16th of January and we are still the 7th on my side of the world (I double checked just in case), I had to ask... And if so, would you mind sending me the lottery winning numbers for this week?

Good luck with the waxing :)

I say go for it! I usually do Brazilian. It can be painful, but just take Advil before you go! :)

I'm too afraid to get a wax. Maybe one day. I'm from a hairy family so...yeah, I could probably use a wax.

Good luck with the waxing! That's a good idea about the "reward." Is it too late to add a pedicure or facial?
