{3} Months Already?!

Happy {3} month birthday, Maddie!

I cannot believe you are {3} months old already.

Wow.

Time flies by so fast, doesn't it?

At {3} months you can:

blow lots of spit bubbles

smile a ton

coo and talk to mommy and daddy

kind of laugh--but it sometimes makes you cry

sit up supported

sleep almost through the nite

you can roll from tummy to back--over and over and over

smile at your big sissy

chew on your hands all. the. time

pull the little bird hanging down from your bouncer--it plays music

hold on to your rattles/toys

pull sissy's hair (I think it's payback from the times she has hurt you).

You are the sweetest and happiest baby--I cannot imagine life without you!

Love you baby girl.

xoxo,

Mommy

The Cut.

Someone got her first haircut today...

She behaved like an angel (seriously. I'm going to start having strangers in my home so she'll behave. What do they do that I don't? *sigh*)

Anyway.

Right away they gave her a Dum-Dum.

She took it cautiously...

And then they started cutting.

And she started eating.

They didn't take off a lot.

But they evened it out...

Trimmed up her bangs...

and the end result?

Too cute for words.

My Sweet Girl

* You are now 19 1/2 months old. I cannot believe that in just a couple of weeks you will be 20 months. Which means in 4 months? You'll be 2. years. old. When did this happen and can I make time slow down? Please?

* You now say "mmmm....good!" with such enthusiasm. But not to real food...you say it when you get out a can of kitty's food and pretend to eat it, you say it when "drinking" from your tea set, you say it when you eat your pretend food. And the latest? You got out one of your paintbrushes and looked at me...."Mmmm! Goooood!"

* You can do forward rolls. Where did you learn that from? Can't wait to get you signed up for gymnastics! I really think you'll love it.

* Anytime you see a cotton ball you sit down to take off your toenail polish. You LOVE getting your toes painted and you love to help take it off. You have somehow hidden many cotton balls around the house (you love your little treasures!) and you will go and retrieve one any time you think your toes need a touch up. I love you, my girly girl!

* You also love my make-up. You want to wear my eyeshadow, my blush...you name it. You come up to me when I am doing my make up, close your eyes and point to your eyelids. When they are done you point to your cheeks for some blush. I love it!

* You also love to wear my lip gloss. You don't care what kind it is, you want it. Lately I've been hooked on Carmex for my dry lips and you love when I share with you. You point to your lips and I put it on.

* When I am putting my body butter on my big tummy you help me--and let me tell you, you are the best helper! You get some out and then rub it on my tummy. And you don't skimp on the amount. Nope, not you. You truly cover my belly with it. Because of you my tummy itches less and less. Thank you, sweet girl!

* You now say "sissy" when we talk about Addison. When we were at Target (hello, heaven!) you asked what the carseat was, the bottles, the new towels and washclothes. I told you they were for sissy and patted my tummy. You then looked at me with those big brown eyes and said "sissy!". I think my heart melted right there on the spot.

* Remember when we first moved you into your new bed and you didn't like it very much? You love your room now. Just wait until daddy paints your room--you'll never want to leave! I still get sad and miss you, but when I go and check on you before I go to bed I sit there and just watch you sleep. You are so peaceful with your army of stuffed animals and your blankie. And you rarely wake up at nite any more. I really think we did good, honey.

Oh, Isabella

Isabella is changing.

And quick.

I swear there are days when I cannot keep up with her!

In any way.

She has another tooth on the top row. This is her 5th tooth. I saw it and it looks like it's been there for a little while. When did I miss it coming in?

She is walking more. And more.

She says the following words: doggie, Daisy, kitty, dada, mom (I so know she means momma. She just doesn't know it yet), tickle, yeah. It makes me laugh how she says doggie, tickle and kitty. But no momma. Should I be worried?

The biting has ceased. For now. Ever since she has been sick she has stopped biting. But now I am wondering if it was all because she was teething? Hm...I don't know and who cares---no more bruises, no more biting! Yeah! Oh--and I must add that she only bit me. Never anyone else.

I bought her one of those corn poppers that you push around. Except hers is pink and girlie. So cute. So Isabella. She loves it and I love it. It takes me back to being little again and seeing how happy it makes her makes me happy.

She loves Noggin. Especially Moose A. Moose. Say the following scenario is playing out in my home: Isabella is screaming. Throwing a tantrum. And getting madder by the second (no kidding, friends. This girl KNOWS how to throw a major on the floor kicking and screaming tantrum. I think we may be in trouble later on.). Noggin is on the television and Moose comes on. Everything suddenly turns quiet. All focus is on Moose. I don't know what it is about him, but she is in love. And for all it's worth? I am 100% fine with that.

She loves anything pasta. And oatmeal with raisins. And broccoli. If any of the mentioned foods are placed in front of her she tears it up. She can't get enough. Cracks. Me. Up. Every single time.

She had asked me to update everyone on the above. She told me in so many words if I'm not feeling so creative to write about her because it'll make her momma happy. Plus she said she had to update her friends Beans, Ella and Will. Actually, she said she had to give them a shoutout. Is that word even used anymore?
