Woozie--They're Fun for Your Wine Glass!

I love finding great wine glass accessories--who doesn't like to pretty up their glass of wine? You can match your glass to your mood, your personality or to match your favorite sports team. I like to think that life is too short to have a boring wine glass. Why not pretty it up a little bit and make yours stand out from the crowd?

Meet Woozie. Woozie is a wine glass insulator that both insulates your wine glass as well as feels great. What is a Woozie? It's a wine glass insulator! How many times have you picked up your wine glass to find that it's already warm? This has happened to me on many occasions and I never would have thought of having an insulator for my glass. Both genius and cute.

The Woozie is a drawstring wine glass sleeve that is made from top quality neoprene. This not only keeps your wine cool, but makes it soft as well. You can order your Woozie either on a card cutout or have it arrive on an actual wine glass.

With holiday season rapidly approaching--and not to forget the many birthdays during the year--giving someone a Woozie will definitely make me smile. Gifting a Woozie is great for Secret Santas, stocking stuffers or to give a hostess to thank them for the fabulous holiday party that they threw.

Woozie offers so many different styles that you can surely find one that will make the perfect gift. Not only do they offer the Original Woozie, but they also offer Bottle Stoppers, Bottle Bags, Coasters--and many, many more options that are all equally cute.

Be sure and keep up with them on their Woozie Facebook page to keep in the know with all things Woozie!

I was provided with 2 Woozies. All opinions above are my own and no other compensation was given. A huge thank you to Woozie for this awesome review opportunity!

Simply Charmed Wine Glass Charms {Giveaway}

Being someone who loves to enjoy a glass (or two on a bad day) of wine, I also have to admit that I love wine glass accessories. I have found some really cute wine glass charms in the past, but just recently found Simply Charmed Wine Glass Charms.

I love wine glass charms for a few reasons. They can pretty up a plain wine glass and they are a creative way to show your personality. But one of my favorite reasons to adorn a charm to my glass is so that I won't get my glass mixed up with someone else's. I hate setting my drink down only to come back and see another one right next to it and then I have no clue which one is mine.

Simply Charmed Wine Glass Charms are adorable and something totally different from what I've seen on the market. Their wine glass accessories are magnetic wine charms! Cute idea, right? What you do is place the charm on the actual glass portion of your wine glass. This is great because you don't have the clinking sound of the stemware charm. Simply Charmed magnetic wine glass charms are strong--they really stayed on my glass well, which was great. I was a little worried about the magnetic piece falling off into my drink, but that didn't happen.

Another great tip--you can store them on your refrigerator being that they are a magnetic wine glass charm. No more worrying that they'll be lost in your kitchen drawers again--or in my case not having to store them up high so my daughters won't get into them.

Mommy's Time Out

I think that it is pretty obvious to us all that I love a nice glass of wine. And after the day I had today? Well, let me just say that this glass of wine was needed.

Enter Mommy's Time Out. Talk about a great name for a wine! I think that all too often moms don't do enough for themselves in a "quiet time" sort of way. The creators of Mommy's Time Out have made a delicious Pinot Grigio and packaged it quite cutely for a wine loving mom like myself.

I chilled the wine until it was just right, put Isabella and Madelyn to bed and then? Poured myself a delicious glass of Mommy's Time Out. I love it--it's seriously delicious! It's light, crisp and fruity, just how I love my wine. I am not a fan of sweet wine so the Pinot Grigio is a perfect match for me.

I think that purchasing a bottle of Mommy's Time Out is such an awesome gift idea for other moms. If you know a mom that really needs some peace and quiet or you just want to surprise your friend with a creative gift I suggest buying them the Mommy's Time Out Pinot Grigio--I think that any mom who loves wine would both get a kick out of the name and love the wine itself.

If you prefer red wines, they offer that as well! Try their Dad's Day Off Pinot Noir--I can't wait to try it out with Leo! Are you a white or red wine lover? Or are not picky as long as it's a good wine? I'm a white wine girl all the way, but am always open to trying new and different wines...

I received the above products in order to conduct an honest review. All opinions expressed above are mine. No other compensation was given.

A Sassy Glass Wine Charms

It's no doubt that by now you know how much I love wine--hence the name The Winey Mommy. I love to find fun wine glasses and fun wine glass accessories. There are so many ways to make an ordinary wine glass into something fun!

Enter A Sassy Glass. A Sassy Glass is the go to shop for your wine glass accessories. With a large selection of wine glass charm sets you are sure to find something for your next get together. They would also be a fun gift for a bride to be, birthday gift, Christmas gifts...

A Sassy Glass all started when creator and owner Melissa Coale had a sleepless nite with her 3 month old daughter. She was thinking of gifts for friends who liked wine/cocktails....and came to thinking about cute stemware charms. She wanted wine charms that would say "DIVA" or "PRINCESS" and began searching for them...but she couldn't find any. With this, Melissa started researching on those sleepless nites in creating the charms that she wanted for her friends. Months went by and she finally had captured the way she wanted her charms to look like. Success! After the success of her charms she started planning and creating her bottle stoppers. From high heeled shoes, purses and birthstones, she has the girliest and funnest wine stoppers available. Love the choices and how they are catered to us women!

I got sent the Girly Girl  collection and I love it! There is a charm for any mood that I may be in. Last nite I was feeling especially sassy--so that was the charm of choice. And I didn't drink any wine--I simply had a glass of water from a wine glass and the charm still spruced it up. You don't have to be a wine/cocktail drinker to enjoy her charms. I like this fact because when I was pregnant and people were enjoying their wine I just sat there with a bottle of water. I would have loved to have these charms for a "fancy" glass of water. Perfect idea for a baby shower, too.

Starting this month, one person who "Likes" A Sassy Glass on Facebook will be entered to win the Emerald Ring inspired bottle stopper! This would be a great gift for someone--or you could keep it for yourself to use on a bottle of wine that doesn't get finished one evening. Make sure to "Like" her page to be entered--you'll also be the first to know about any specials or new projects!

A Sassy Glass wine charms, bottle stoppers and t-shirts can be purchased by visiting her site. Interested in having an internet party with A Sassy Glass? She offers that, too! If you are the host--inviting co-workers, friends, sisters, etc--you will receive 25% sales in "Sassy Cash". They just place their order with you, the hostess, and you will receive your cash! Cool, right?!

Have fun shopping and browsing A Sassy Glass. She really offers a lot of cute products--I love them all!

I received the Girly Girl collection. No other compensation was given and all opinions above are my own.

Woah, Nelly!

Wow.  Talk about a long, dragged out day.

I had some tantrums thrown in.

With a dash of timeouts on the naughty mat.

Followed by overspending at Target--I mean, Isabella so needed that pink Christmas tree for her room.

Ending with cutting my hand in three places opening a bottle of wine.

Don't ask.

At least I have this prettiness to drink the almost needing stiches cutting bottle of wine yummy wine out of:

It says:

Mommy's Little Helper.

I could never thank Shell enough for my gotoforhappinessinaglass glass.

Lets hope my hair appointment goes a lot better than my day today....

She knows me sooo well! I mean after all, we both go by the nickname Shell/Chelle...and she must know my love of wine, too!

Thank you, Shell--this made my week!

A Made Up Post

*Right now I'm having a glass or two of Monkey Bay. Yum.

*Right now I'm still on my high from my Target shopping trip. I puffy heart Target. A lot. I got 2 cute tees and a pair of shoes. I never, ever buy for myself. But since I've done sooo good losing weight? I treated myself. Oh--I bought Bella the cutest nite lite. Cuteness!

*Right now I am super excited...because Leo and I are painting our entry way hallway tomorrow...and the next nite! Yay! Now Isabella's red, Crayola "x's" will be removed. But not to worry. We still have yellow ones in our room...

*Right now I'm still shook up about Beller's and my walk tonite. We were approx 2 feet away from being hit by a teenage driver. A teenage driver who pulled out from one of our side neighborhood streets. A teenage driver who drove way too fast doing so. And a teenage driver whose face at that moment? I will never forget. I hope he learned a valuable lesson. And I hope I never encounter said teenage driver. Again.

*Right now I am super happy that I've lost over 30 lbs since having Madelyn. I needed to lose weight before getting pregnant with her (I like to call that weight my Bella leftovers), but still. I feel great. And I'm wearing my normal clothes again.

*Right now I am wondering if I've mentioned that I walk 2.2 miles. Every nite possible. In a few weeks I hope to be running/walking. And eventually? I hope to be just running. I have goals, people, and I plan on meeting them.

*Right now I am wondering when the terrible 2's will end? And she's not even 2 yet....

*Right now I am order the Nikon D40 book for Dummies. Yep, I sure am. I want to learn and their manual? Lets just say lets note that I am getting the book for Dummies...'nuff said.

*Right now I am going to get another glass of wine...
