Prima Princessa's The Nutcracker

Isabella is in love with anything that involves dance. She has been in love with ballet for quite some time now--and when I showed her that we received Prima Princessa's The Nutcracker? She was over the top happy! She has now worn her tutu daily to watch, dance and learn all about ballet. I love The Nutcracker--and am happy that I can watch it with both of my girls.

This adorable DVD is a great video for any child that loves ballet, dance or if they love watching shows that involve music and dancing. Featuring England's famed Birmingham Royal Ballet doing a performance of The Nutcracker-which if you are unsure of what The Nutcracker is about it contains snow fairies, waltzing flowers and toy soldiers. It truly makes me think of Christmas time when I hear someone talking about The Nutcracker.

The DVD is wonderful in the fact that it is broken up into sections--one section is the Royal Ballet performing the true ballet and has a narrator to explain what is happening during the actual ballet. Most of children are so young they don't understand the story behind the ballet. The other section is filled with mini dance lessons from the New York City's Ballet School of American Ballet as well as everyday children dressed up in their tutus.

I love that the Prima Princessa DVD's are made my mompreneurs Mary Kate Mellow and Stephanie Troeller. These two moms are on a mission to bring the beauty and magic of ballet to children everywhere. Are you interested in purchasing a Prima Princessa DVD for your child? The Nutcracker would make for a fabulous stocking stuffer or birthday gift and can be purchased for $6.99 at Amazon.com, Barnes & Noble online, Target.com as well as other select stores across the country.

I was provided with a copy of The Nutcracker in order to facilitate and honest review. All opinions are my own and no other compensation was given.
