What are YOU Reading?

I finished the book I talked about in this post and I loved it. I loved the entire thing--the beginning, the middle AND the end. A lot of times I start getting bored while reading a book...not that one! Like I said before--it's an excellent summer read--perfect for the summer days coming up.

While my Mom was driving me to the airport on Saturday I realized that I had forgotten my spare book to begin reading on my flights home. Ugh! Totally like me--a little scatterbrained and forgetful...go figure. I knew I wouldn't last 10 minutes in the airport with nothing to read so I hit up one of the airport bookshops. I ended up buying this one:

A woman has adopted a little boy. In the first chapter she is getting home from work and sees a missing child flier that has arrived...she looks at the picture of the boy and it looks very similar to her son. To read more in depth about it click here to be taken to the book's page on the author's site.

So far I love, love, LOVE it! It's a little different from books that I have read in the past, but I am seriously happy with my pic. I'm hoping to get it finished by this week--so far so good!

What are you reading this week? Anything new and fun? Feel free to share below--I loved all of your suggestions last week!

I am reading My Life in France by Julia Child. I read a lot (like 4 books per week) and can still say that this is one of my top 10 books that I've ever read. LOVE it. If you liked Julie and Julia, particularly the Julia Child parts, you will love this book.

I totally need to pick up a book. Since the little one has come along, it's been just so hard to keep up with reading. Although I love reading. Thank you for the review!!

Well, I half way into THE FORGOTTEN GARDEN by Kate Morton. Great story, some mystery and intrique into generations of life. Well, worth the read.

Looks like I'm going to have to give this one a try. Saw it at Borders and now I know for sure I'll be picking it up on my next trip.

Happy Monday,
Kate - The Garden Bell

So do you think it was the word GARDEN in the title that got me... well, sort of...he-he..

I LOVE LISA SCOTTOLINE! I will read anything by her, she is great! (She even has a humor book out now, too, if you can believe it! My mom said it's really clever!) Look Again had me on the edge of my seat for so much of it! Let me know what you think when you're done!

Look Again is on my list of books to read. I think it looks really good. I just finished reading Summer's Child by Diane Chamberlain and am now reading One for the Money by Janet Evanovich - it is about a woman who becomes a bounty hunter --- there is suspense and it is funny, not a common combo but so far it is working for me.

I've not picked up a book in months that wasn't filled with illustrated characters and 2 sentences per page. I just reserved this from my local library. Can't wait to read it!

I decided to read ny times #1 fiction bestsellers for 2010, hardback and paperback. Right now I'm reading Fantasy in Death by JD Robb. Not something I'd normally pick but I'm enjoying it.
