Christmas Party Menu

With my Christmas party for the playgroup less than a month away, I've started planning out a few minor details...in my head.  I need to write this out in list form on paper.  I have to have a list.  For everything.  It drives me crazy if I don't!

The party will be potluck style.  We just can't afford supplying the food for 18 women plus any children that come.  I will be providing beverages (soda/water/coffee).  In addition to the drinks I think I'll be making the following:

*White chocolate dipped pretzels

*Pumpkin bread

*Pigs in a blanket

*Cookies

*Crackers/cheeseball

*Homemade Chex Mix

*Rotel/Velveeta cheese dip

This is where I need a favor from you--tell me, what are your favorite party foods for Christmas?  Would you like what I have above?  Is there anything that I must make?

I love y'all for giving me your opinions!  I can't wait to come up with the final menu, because honestly?

I want to start my decorating!  {which I've planned to do the past two weeks...}

oo sounds yummy! I would be happy with that food at a party :-). What kind of cookies are you going to make?

sounds delish! If you wanted to, instead of soda, the crystal light (or generic brand) pink lemonade or raspberry tea/lemonade is REALLY yummy!

Your menu looks delicious! I'm sure with it being potluck, everyone will enjoy. Looks like more than enough to me.

Yum! You said cookies, but I would specifically say sugar cookies...shaped like Christmas-y things! :)

Hi...here from Midday Escapades. I'm following you now. Come on by sometime when you get a chance and watch a vlog or read an article. We love making new friends. My favorite Christmas food is really simple...Honey Baked Ham. Love it warm, love it cold, love it in soup, love the sandwiches, love it with sauces...love it alone. MMMMM. Holly:)

Your menu looks great! I always love crackers / chips and dips. You are going to have a house full!

I am the same way with making a list. I do not trust myself to remember anything without writing it down somewhere.

You can never go wrong with a cheeseball. My family always asks for my sausage balls too.

Oh, sounds yummy. I'm going to carpool with Amanda, okay?

I like to do "redneck toffee." It is so good...but really, you will make it and eat it all yourself!

YUMM!! I want to come!! All the food you listed sounds delish!! Something about cheeseballs i just love!

I was just given the easiest and yummyiest apple dip recipe ever. (i had it at a bday party and wanted to eat the whole bowl)

I just served it at a baby shower and everyone wanted the recipe! Its so good!

I named it Skor Caramel Apple Dip (Clever I know!)

- 2 blocks cream cheese

- 1 cup brown sugar

- 1 cup caramel sauce (like what you would put on icecream)

(You can add more sugar and caramel sauce to taste, i added more than this because well i like things sweet!!)

Whip it together! Easy peasy!

After its whipped and in the serving dish, drizzle it with caramel sauce and sprinkle it with a crushed skor bar.

YUMMO!

Even if you dont make it at the party its a good recipe to have! And plus its sorta healthy because you get to eat apples with it. So that justifies it!
